Citizens must evaluate candidates not by party label, but by their character, capability, and commitment to governing for the common good. We must stop rewarding corruption or excusing cruelty.

I knew something was wrong when the republican guardians of the pedophiles voted for it that bill all of a sudden.
I don’t know why Ro Khanna changed that bill last minute but that bill is not going to have anything implicating Trump released.
I was tricked by Ro Khanna’s stupidity at first. He was telling everyone that once his bill received the majority vote it would require the DOJ to release the sealed files incriminating Trump. I found out the president could veto the bill which would then require 292 house votes and 67 senate votes to pass into law. Ro Khanna decided to remove the part of the bill that would release the sealed documents incriminating Trump. That caused essentially all the republicans to vote for the bill.
Everyone has to make a big deal about this. Otherwise this is going to be exactly what Trump needed to clear his name.
The Democrats want those sealed files released. Make sure you vote for Democrat representatives in 2026.

Bruce, To update your article which much have been mostly written two or three days ago. Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva was sworn in on Nov. 12th, two days ago. She gave a blistering speech about the obstruction of the government by one individual. “It has been 50 days since the people of Arizona’s 7th Congressional District elected me to represent them,” Grijalva said on Wednesday. “This is an abuse of power. One individual should not be able to unilaterally obstruct the swearing in of a duly elected member of Congress for a political reason.” When she met Speaker Johnson for the swearing in, he said not to take his remarks about her personally! After the swearing in, she immediately signed the Epstein File discharge petition completely the 218 signatures needed.
We are also seeing quite a reaction to the new Epstein documents released that same day. Now the worry is whether this President willing to do anything to distract from the Epstein scandal will start a war with Venezuela or something equally egregious. May you live in interesting times, as the Chinese curse goes!
Yes, I began writing this post several days ago and rewrote it several times as events transpired. I also added the last section on not expecting Trump’s MAGA base to desert him, but hoping there are many Americans who have not been civically engaged will learn important lessons from all of this.
I continue to promote the importance of civic engagement, being well informed, and making responsible decisions in order to promote the common good.
I'm hoping -- but not expecting -- that the Epstein Files are different from the other things the MAGA base did not desert him on. The difference being MAGA wants and was promised by Trump to make public the Epstein Files. They might get more than they expected. I'm sure there will still be a hard core MAGA base but with the way Marjorie Taylor Green is acting perhaps she will be leading MAGA because DT will no longer be far enough right for them. And, of course, the Project 2025 designers and advocates will come to the conclusion that DT is no longer useful to them and they need puppet JD to continue without the demented Trump. Stay tuned!!
